PUBLIC WORKS

Website Access to Construction Plan Holders List - Subcontractors and other interested parties can now access the city website to get updated plan holders lists. This upgrade is a real time-saving device for the Public Works Department. On large projects, the department would receive several daily calls from prospective subcontractors who wanted to know who has purchased plans. By using the website, anyone can access the information that is updated nightly. Information can be found by going to http://www.huntingtonbeachca.gov/, and selecting the Business Category, then to Bids and RFPs, and to the words Public Works Construction Projects in blue, and finally to Current Advertised Projects. Detailed project descriptions and all plan holders information can be accessed by scrolling down the page.
