- Recreational Vehicles (RVs) of ANY length.
- Motor vehicles longer than 22 feet or wider than 84 inches.
- Unattached Trailers.
- ANY vehicle with an attached trailer (or similar combination) measuring more than 22 feet in length (Semi-trucks and Tractor-trailers are not eligible for an Oversized Vehicle permit.)
- ONLY residents of the City of Huntington Beach are eligible for an Oversized Vehicle permit.
- Additionally, residents are required to park their permitted vehicle in front of their residence ONLY.
- No. Multiple accounts for the same vehicle are not allowed and would be considered a misuse of the permit system, which can lead to a suspension, or a ban of privileges.
- Oversized Vehicle permits are free of charge and are only available to residents of Huntington Beach.
- Permits can be pulled for no more than 3 days at a time, 12 days a month and 144 days in a calendar year.
- Oversized vehicle permits allow for the loading and unloading of the oversized vehicle; storing or using it for purpose of occupancy is NOT allowed.

- 2nd offense - $164
- 3rd and subsequent offenses - $264
- Yes. All parked vehicles MUST be moved for street sweeping regardless of size or permit status.
- Additionally, all CVCs and HBMCs must be obeyed at all times for any parked vehicles.
